We celebrated Meet the Teacher night with some friends at the local Pizza Hut.

First Day of School

South Dakota Journey Day 6 & 7

We took the 1880 Train from Hill City to Keystone (where Mt. Rushmore is).

We found some buffalo on our journey home.

We pulled in back home around 1:00 a.m.

South Dakota Journey Day 5

This is the apline slide. It was definately the highlight of the trip for all the kids.

You take a ski lift to the top of the mountain and then slide down a fiberglass slide on a sled.

We went to a totally hokey place called Bedrock Village but it was a good time for Flinstone fans. The entire Flinstones town was recreated.

South Dakota Journey Day 4

Breakfast in bed. We are on vacation!

We stopped at the famous Wall Drug in Wall, SD. Not sure why it is so famous.

The boys went "mining" for treasures.

We arrived at Mt. Rushmore. We saw a brochure with a hot air balloon with Mt. Rushmore in the background so when we got there Drew wanted to know what happened to the balloon.

Brady wanted to know why Lincoln was not wearing his hat?

South Dakota Journey Day 3

After the zoo we drove on up to Sioux Falls, SD.

We went to the Kirby Science Center. The kids had a blast!

South Dakota Journey Day 1 & 2

We loaded up, jammies on and headed for Omaha.Woke up and headed to the zoo where we
looked at all the animals, rode the sky tram and train.Dualing Indiana Jones style!They thought the parrot looked like a Jayhawk!Watch out for wild monsters.Brady and Camden loved the jellyfish.
